About Us
We are Melissa & Katie. We’re both from New Zealand, but now live far apart, because Melissa moved to London in 2008. Katie lives in Auckland.
Melissa runs a New Zealand based queerfeminist comix & zines store, Cherry Bomb Comics with Tui, though these days mostly Tui has to do all the work now that Melissa lives in London. Melissa organises gigs & DIY events in London, and runs a UK-offshoot distro for Cherry Bomb Comics. She is generally obsessed with comics, records & English wildlife (particularly foxes and owls), and has a general long-term plan to make a zine/write a book/say something about being queer & mixed race (a happy combination).
